“Social Economy in Europe: Inspirations and Practices”

ASTIPA at the conference ‘Social Economy in Europe: Inspirations and Practices’, Warsaw, 22 September 2025

On 22 September 2025, ASTIPA had the honour of participating in an international conference organised by the Mazovian Centre for Social Policy, dedicated to the future and good practices of the social economy in Europe.

Our organisation was represented by Valentino Necco, who actively participated in the event and discussions on the role of social economy entities in Poland and Europe.

The programme included presentations by recognised experts and professionals:

prof. Mirosław Grewiński (Poland) – directions for the development of social economy in Poland
Antal Karolyi (Hungary) – innovation and social entrepreneurship
Valentino Necco (Italy) – public sector and social enterprises
Andrés Abad Pacheco (Spain) – raising awareness and promotion of the social economy
Alona Revko (Ukraine) – the role of the universities and the local communities

The conference culminated in a panel discussion entitled ‘The state of the social economy in Europe – prospects and challenges’, moderated by Dr Dariusz Budrowski.

This important event was an opportunity to exchange experiences, expand contacts and seek new forms of cooperation in the field of the social economy. The participation of ASTIPA in such initiatives is proof of our commitment to the development of the sector and international cooperation.
