Empowering migrants through intercultural education The project Building Bridges, funded by the Erasmus+ EU programme, supports the social and professional integration of migrants and refugees through intercultural education. It focuses on two main areas: strengthening migrants’ skills and training educators. Migrants and refugees benefit from courses that improve language, cultural and professional competences, alongside a tailored skills assessment model designed specifically for their needs. This model identifies transferable skills and defines pathways for further training and employability. Educators and social workers from partner organizations receive specialized training to enhance their capacity to motivate, support and guide vulnerable groups. Be Smart

The project Be Smart – CulturArteSport for Social Inclusion is carried out from October 2024 to June 2025 in the municipalities of Cinisello Balsamo and Varedo, with the involvement of over 1,100 high school students, 300 young people from local parishes, and 90 students from College Como. It combines cultural, artistic and sports-based activities to foster participation, social inclusion and psycho-physical well-being among young people. Workshops, peer-to-peer activities, and creative labs in photography, videography and hip hop are designed to strengthen social ties, creativity, and self-esteem, while addressing issues such as bullying, social withdrawal and educational poverty. Knowledge Visitor Centre

The project incorporates common innovations and good practices. In teaching adults, learners attach more importance to what they experience, which is why experimental, problem-solving and discussion techniques work very well. Within the framework of the Visitors’ Centre for Knowledge, it will be possible to exchange experiences and extend cooperation between the project partners.
