Memorandum of Understanding

Milan, January 31, 2025 — ASTIPA and three partner organizations — Associazione Francesco Realmonte and I Giovani x i Giovani — have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to continue and expand their collaboration on promoting social inclusion, following the successful conclusion of the Erasmus+ project Wszechnica Wiedzy.

The signing of the MoU marks a significant step in formalizing an informal network of cooperation — the local coalition — that was born out of the Erasmus+ project. This coalition is dedicated to sustaining the methodologies, practices, and synergies developed throughout the initiative, with a strong focus on marginalized and vulnerable communities.

“This Memorandum is a natural continuation of the work we began under Wszechnica Wiedzy,” said Valentino Necco, director of ASTIPA. “It reflects our shared commitment to mutual learning, capacity building, and the development of innovative approaches to social service delivery.”

Through this agreement, the signatory organizations will collaborate in several key areas, including:

  • Ongoing exchange of best practices and service delivery models;

  • Joint training programs and workshops aimed at enhancing the skills of social service practitioners;

  • Co-development of new projects and initiatives, including joint applications for European funding;

  • Advocacy efforts at the local, national, and EU levels to promote inclusive social policies.

The MoU, which is valid for an initial period of three years, represents a flexible and non-binding framework for cooperation, allowing each organization to retain its autonomy while actively contributing to a shared vision of social inclusion.

By committing to this agreement, ASTIPA and its partners reaffirm their dedication to ethical standards in social work and to continuing the momentum generated by Wszechnica Wiedzy in building more inclusive communities across Europe.
