Rediscovering one’s own territory

The local working group of Conversano continued the activities of “exploration” of the territory, in the city and its immediate surroundings, begun as part of the Erasmus+ project “Skarbiec Europy”, implemented by Astipa in collaboration with the association Venti di Scambio. Putting into practice the knowledge and skills acquired during the training workshops held in 2024, it realised two photographic reportages, one on a stretch of coast near Conversano, still uncontaminated and wild (Costa Ripagnola), one on the traditional religious procession of Good Friday. In the first case an excursion open to all was organised, in collaboration with another local association specialised in organising excursions and trekking. In the second case, the photo story illustrates the Good Friday Easter procession, a moment in town life that is part of local traditions along with the great procession of the “Madonna della Fonte”, the town’s patron saint. These two moments will be followed by two more outings in June, again in the spirit of rediscovery of their territory by local communities.rio
